Sal’s Pizza Style has been serving Birdsboro and the surrounding areas since January 1st, 1987. Sal Amato opened Sal’s Pizza Style as a young man with determination and love for the Birdsboro community.

Since Sal’s Grand Opening day, January 1st 1987 he created the Cheese Steak Pizza, Cheese Steak Stromboli, The Crostata Grandma Pizza, Chicken Cordon Blue Pizza, the Leave it to Sal Sandwich, the Garlic Cheese Steak with Garlic sauce, also in September 2015: the STROMBOLI PIZZA– it’s an Italian Stromboli with sauce and mozzarella on top, with toppings of your choice just like a pizza.  In 2019 he created the new Pizza SAINT SALS PIZZA…Extra Crispy pizza pizza with extra virgin olive oil, San Marzano peeled tomatoes ,  & 2 Types of cheese…this is the #1 Pizza till now, Nominated by Philly Megazine The Best Pizza In Berks County In 2021 and a customer favorite.

In 2021 Sal saddened the community with his announcement to retire and sell his business after 35 years.  The quant pizza shop was purchased by Ryan and Sylvia Vogel, local Daniel Boone High School graduates.  Ryan and Sylvia opened January 1, 2022 and added a few menu items while keeping with Sal’s traditional recipes.

Our menu grows larger every year with great new Pizzas, Strombolis, Sandwiches, and Salads. Our small Italian-style dining room seats 25 people on a first come, first serve basis. Our food is made fresh to your order daily, eat in or take out. We specialize in homemade cooking, daily pizza dough, and a variety of sauces.  Home-style Meatballs simmered in homemade sauce and our lightly  Chicken Parmigiana served on a Fresh Roll…Thats a Sandwich!!

Our sandwiches are made fresh to your specifications. The Italian Sub with Ham, Genoa Salami, Provolone Cheese, and Spicy Capicolla.   Try the Cheese Steaks or Garlic Cheese Steak – very good and tasty, and don’t forget the best wings and fresh cut fries in the area.

Sal states “Our beautiful town of Birdsboro is the nicest town I have lived in since I came to America in 1976. I am very glad to be a part of this town, with the nicest and friendliest people around.”  We are only a few miles from French Creek State Park and the St Peter Village.
